Whistler Mountain | Last night we arrived at the liquor store 1 minute after it closed at 7 o'clock. Not that it mattered to much - by 9 we were falling asleep. We managed to sleep in until 5 o'clock, but once the sun came up, it was clear that we were in for a better day. |
Blackcomb Gondola | We were out when the slopes opened at 8.30 and went up on the Blackcomb Gondola. |
Snow machine | Although there has been tons of snow in the last few weeks, there must be a problem with lack of snow at the very bottom of the mountain. There are several snow making machines running permanently to make sure there's enough snow on the home runs. |
Phil and James | As you can see, going up is much easier than going down. |
