Phil had a terrible injury and severed both legs off below the knees. Whilst reluctant as ever to see the doctor, James & Gez persuaded him to ring 999.

In Whistler, they seem to describe visibility as 'variable' on every weather forcast. What this means in practice is the usually, the mountains which are only a few yards away, are usually invisible.

Since visibility was so bad, Gez and James decided to go to the Blackcomb glacier, which involves climbing up a narrow ridge since the lift doesn't go high enough. Had visibility been better, they would have been too scared to do the climb.

Having been scared witless on the glacier, Gez & James sought sanctuary at Glacier Creek cafe.

Phil had a beer at lunchtime and sadly, the alcohol caused double vision on the camera.
