We saw the sun!: 11th January 2008

For the first time this holiday, we actually saw the sun as we were going up a lift. By the time we'd got the camera out, it had gone again but there was the odd bit of blue sky.

This week we've had four feet of snow so far. Conditions today were described as powder on packed powder. It's hard work even going down a green run.

James and his expensive prescription goggles. Were it not for the fact that these steam up at the slightest provocation, James would actually be able to see where he was going.

We stopped for a cuppa at the 'chick pea' cafe on the slopes. The cafe was decorated with an array of large pickle jars.

Phil's boots have been causing problems all week. Today, Phil and James swapped boots. Minutes later, one of James's skis came off and he fell over. Phil didn't fall over once today. Coincidence?

Phil dipped out of skiing early due to exhaustion. Meanwhile Gez and James skied to Creekside village for lunch.
