Personal commentsAfter being told by my GP that I had hypertension in March 2005. I purchased an Omeron model 6 BP meter. On both occasions it is the unstable pulse warning on the Omeron that alerted me that I was in AF.

On both occasions I spontaneously reverted to sinus rhythm in hospital waiting to be shocked.
