| Current medications/side effects | None - have been prescribed Flecainide but not taken it as yet.
Feb 2010 - still none but considering a touch up ablation following my original one in Jan 2007 which has been almost a success other than two cardioversions in three years. |

| Past medications/side effects | On original presentation I was prescribed Atenalol which caused more problems than I had otherwise so after a few weeks I came off them and have had no other antiarrythmics since. I take 10mg Simvastatin daily to control cholesterol.
Recently tried a total ban on alcohol for three months which made no difference. |

| History of surgery | Angiogram in 2001 - all clear.
Jan 2007 - left circumferential atrial ablation at the Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. Dr Yaver Bashir was EP. Almost perfect - needed 2 DC cardioversions in 3 years for atrial flutter on the left side of the heart so considering a "touch up." |

| Future plans | My doctors expect that I will have radiofrequency ablation at some future date - expected to be when the technology improves sufficiently to move the risk/reward ratio sufficiently in favour of the procedure.
