Past medications/side effects
Amiodorone 200mg (was increased to 400mg this February prior to requesting to be taken off). Wasa no longer working although I personally did not experience the horrible side effects described by others.
Some of the medications checked below were only taken briefly and except for the above have long been discontinued
History of surgery
Thrombectomy this past December--I was lucky; passed a clot from atrium that lodged in my right arm rather than going to cerebrum.Had not been on coumadin since 1999. Am back on for life.
2004 Refused sinus node ablation with pacemaker implantation
1997 Refused catheterization to explore for blockages (none show on echocardiograms)
Future plans
Listening seriously to all the histories of PVAs--may go that route if my episodes get me down. (Usually I stay below 120 bpm which I am adapting to)
