| Current medications/side effects | Sotalol 2 x 80mg daily. Side effects included cold extremities, flatulence, slow heart rate and feeling a bit slow, but these have receded with time.
Irbesartan 2 x 150mg daily. No side effects
Warfarin around 8mg daily. Usual problems with bruising and bleeding. |

| Personal comments | If I had not had private medical insurance my condition would not have been investigated. My one appointment with a NHS cardiologist, for which I waited 6 months, lasted minutes and he told me that I did not need to see him again.
I have been taking chelated magnesium supplements for the last 18 months, which may have helped my condition. |
