Rythmol 300 (Propafanone): from 1998 now on,
Sotalol: I stopped it after a few days since I was sleepy the all day and I was even not able to drive safely my car.
Past medications/side effectsFlecaine: from 1991 to 1993
Cordarone (Amiodarone): stopped after a few weeks because of bradicardy
History of surgeryFound in permanent AF, electrical choc cardioversion in 1998: Back to sinus rythm during 24 hours, then paroxystic AF from that time up to November 2002.
AF Almost permanent from November 2002 now on
Future plansI am investigating all solutions.
My cardiologist suggest ablation, but I am reluctant.
I hear that we have a veery good specialist close to Bordeau city.
Personal commentsI am very happy I found your Web site, since my only contact concerning AFib is my Cardiomogist. I received already some of your messages and I found that AFibers are very well educated concerning their illness. I am setting up my English vocabulary before I write in your forum.
