Future plans	I have had 3 cardio conversion attempts. The first two were unsuccessful and the third lasted only one day. For 5 months from start of chronic Afib I was treated with 400mg amiodarone. I am now back to normal sinus rythym Currently I am considering staying on amiodarone for a while before any other treatments. My doctor told me that within the next few weeks he will take me off of coumadin.
Personal comments	I have heard a lot of unfavorable comments on amiodarone, but it worked for me. I have had no significant side effects.
