TriggersAlcohol is a trigger as far as my cardiologist has stated. My view is that there are other triggers, but not yet determeined. Nice to note other people have had an episode when bending over. This needs to be followed.
PreventionsI have been advised to reduce alcohol intake to 12 units a week.
Current medications/side effectsSotalol 160mg a day.
Warfarin at 5mg a day.

Only side affect is cold skin and hands. When I take the Sotalol for the first few days I feel tired and fatigued.
Past medications/side effectsNone
History of surgeryNone
Future plansI am awaiting to have Cardioversion to put me back into NSR. First time for me. Previously it has gone back to normal after a few weeks on the medication.
Personal commentsI was very surprised to note how many people suffer from this condition. Maybe it is the way we live our very busy lifestyles. A 21st Century disease.
