Current statePAC's (ectopics) several times a day sometimes leading to AF
TriggersLarge meals especially late in the evening.
Alcohol.
General stress.
Too much exercise too quickly.
Sudden changes in temperature.
Sudden very loud noises.
Sleeping on the left side. (sometimes)
PreventionsTry not to eat too large a meal too late in the evening.
Chew food more thoroughly.
Exercise slowly at first.
Current medications/side effectsBisoprolol (cardicor) 2.5mg twice a day.
I take 1 asprin when AF starts.
I also take Calcium/Magnesium tablets and Hawthorn extract.
Bisoprolol reduces HR to 45 (average) and this makes me tired.
Past medications/side effectsPropranolol in small doses (10mg) as and when I had PAC's. This no longer had any effect on my PAC's or AF.
History of surgeryNo heart related surgery.
Future plansTo try other medications for some better results and keep fingers crossed that the AF does not progress to full time.
