Lanoxin for several years with the Quinidex. Side effects was severe abdominal and back pain. Stopped as soon as I came off the lanoxin.
Aspirin, I was never on coumadin.
History of surgeryRadical Prostate cancer surgery 1990
Maze surgery 1998
Future plansLive a long happy life free of atrial fibrillation and free of the AF medications.
Personal commentsAfter being cured of AF, after a lifetime of dealing with it and the bad side effect of the medications for AF, I find it hard to understand why more people don't opt for the maze procedure to cure this awful ailment.
The surgery and recovery was so much easier than I had expected, and life free of AF and medication, (even for a 68 year old), is so wonderful, I just feel great.
