Personal commentsI am 52 years old, have been a health 'fanatic' all my life - extremely fit, healthy and disciplined. As a child I suffered some kind of rheumatic fever, then throughout my life I have been a highly allergic person to pollens, animals, straw, dust, feathers and certain foods (milk, MSG, some colorings and additives etc). I first started have heart 'flutters' about 3 years ago. My AF's have got worse as I have had more and more medications for the condition. I used to have them intermittantly now, now chronic ... meaning they are always there ... I can feel them currently 'beneath' the amiodarone I was put on 4 weeks ago. Have had 7x cardioversions in hospital since Xmas (6 months ago) and now it is suggested I have ablation therapy but I've yet to see any postings on the internet on any channel which yells success with this therapy - most say still need medication, many say had to have 2 or 3 and others say it didn't help at all. Would appreciate any comments from others.
