| Triggers | It can come on with without any triggers. Ususally just while sitting or laying down. Standing up quickly can also bring it on. Have only had three major bouts where hospital/emerg. was used. Two of which actually took place in the hospital while visiting my son. Attempts to cardiovert during one session not successful. (three jolts) Converted on it's own once and a by using drugs the other times. (slow drip of Magnesium sulfate) |

| Current medications/side effects | Was on Metaprolol but taken off after a few months because it was not allowing me to exercise without giving me arrithmias. Currently on Rythmol, Altace, Indapamide. Don't really feel any side effects from the drugs but there may be some. Also Warfarin for a blood thinner. |

| Personal comments | This came out of the blue with no warning signs. I have always lead a fairly active life with scuba diving, hunting and fishing, motorcycling and riding ATV's It hasn't completely stopped me from doing things but it's always in the back of my mind what the consquences could be if I were to have even what normally could be considered a minor injury accident. I really need to get off of the thinners and get my life back. |
