PreventionsEat smaller more frequent meals, stay away from gas producing foods, try not to stoop to often
Current medications/side effectsI have tried several different medications. None seemed to work. Went to a specialist in Pittsburgh and he took me of off all meds even aspirin. Said it wasn't helping so why take them. He was correct it didn't have any effect. After a-fib begins, 1 hour after I take 120 mg of fast acting generic cardizan tablet(diltiazim). 60 mg every 4 to 6 hours there after until conversion. If I don't convert in 24 hours I must go to the hospital for observation. I have converted 15 out of the last 18 times in 3 years.
Past medications/side effectstoporol-tired
betapase-light headed

History of surgerygall bladder no heart surgery
Future plansI am going to try keep changing my life style until I run across something that will help keep me out of a-fib.
Personal commentsI am convinced that this has something to do with eating or the digestive process. My doctors say that there is no research that they have heard about to support my theory. I have lost 75 pounds and completely changed my life style. I never indulged in acohol and now stay away from caffine. It hasn't helped my A-Fib but I feel better when not in A-Fib than I did before.
