Current stateCurrently in NSR with frequent ectopics.
TriggersEating heavy meals late at night.
Too much alcohol
PreventionsIf I have had a late meal I will try to stay awake as long as possible because all of my episodes happen when I am asleep.
Current medications/side effectsSotalol 80 mg - slow pulse
Aspirin 75 mg
Valsartan 80mg for hypertension
Indapamide 1.5mg for hypertension
Allopurinol 100 mg for gout
Co Q10
Cherry extract for gout (brilliant)
Past medications/side effectsAmioderone - horrible drug. Took it for about 2 weeks only.
Atenolol
History of surgeryNone
Future plansChanging from Sotalol to Flecainide with Bisoprolol within the next 2 weeks as suggested by my Cardiologist.

Cardiologist also suggested a PVIA which I will give serious conseration to if the Flecainide doesnt work.
Personal commentsWhe I first had AF episodes I used to get really worried. Now I see them as a nuisance which can make things like travelling overseas a problem as you are always wondering if the 'devil' is going to show up.
